They are a pet! I try to be frugal, but that would be going too far for me.Rachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16902958185595093827noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4751222666140313293.post-9426101006101559272011-02-22T19:56:55.480-08:002011-02-22T19:56:55.480-08:00Yes, post about the hens and also when they will b...Yes, post about the hens and also when they will become ahem, dinner.Susannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16661735576406050445noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4751222666140313293.post-87593784427598226172011-02-21T16:51:53.981-08:002011-02-21T16:51:53.981-08:00The eggs taste unbelievably great. A fried egg has never tasted so good. :-)

I should really post about the chickens! I guess they have become our norm and are no longer a novelty.Rachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16902958185595093827noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4751222666140313293.post-86818862277030491152011-02-21T15:14:30.248-08:002011-02-21T15:14:30.248-08:00How do the eggs taste? How do the eggs taste?Susannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16661735576406050445noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4751222666140313293.post-21171392031755192182011-02-21T10:31:29.904-08:002011-02-21T10:31:29.904-08:00Lorie, you're referring to the dog post, aren&...Lorie, you're referring to the dog post, aren't you? :-) We had Snickers on a leash out front for awhile and then let him roam, while we waited for the owner to return our call, in the backyard where he escaped. After he escaped the owner called us back and said he gets out of their yard all the time. However, we haven't seen him again our way.

Julie, we're getting about 3 eggs a day. We actually lost 1 hen (Jess left the coop door open accidentally, and we think 1 hen got out and since our dog was in the yard, she had a fun toy for a while...) so getting 3 eggs from 3 hens each day is great!Rachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16902958185595093827noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4751222666140313293.post-68751417614811461122011-02-21T08:43:58.953-08:002011-02-21T08:43:58.953-08:00really cute...I was wondering how the hens were do...really cute...I was wondering how the hens were doing...are they making a lot of eggs?Julie, Creative Little Househttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08222860442734503185noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4751222666140313293.post-40779505390407719902011-02-21T04:42:25.630-08:002011-02-21T04:42:25.630-08:00What was the deal with this?
