Gone Fishin'

This cool, drizzly morning we headed out for our first fishing trip as an entire family. Jesse and I didn't even take our own poles, instead focusing on the kids having a great time. This was also Roone's first time to fish, and did he ever fish. He caught two crappie and was quite pleased with his success.

Also, this was a good time to wear my new boots.

Later in the day we cut 4 inches off my hair. 

I've been wanting to do this for some time, 

and I feel light and lifted already.
