Blooms and Such

Our Black-Eyed Susans have been blooming for a while.
A series of late Spring thunderstorms has them looking wind tossed, but I like the look!
The Zinnia patches are just starting to bloom. Isn't this orange bloom striking?
We planted Purslane (an annual) last year in an old birdbath. We realized this Spring that from the birdbath it had sown itself in the ground below and are now enjoying another year of Purslane. Wonderful, unintentional frugality!
Here is a general view of our vegetable garden too. We are anxious to begin reaping Tomatoes, Zucchini, and Summer Squash. Soon!
It is utterly forbidden to be half-hearted about gardening.  
You have got to love your garden whether you like it or not.
