(I think the peanut butter was consumed first...)
Picking Green Beans
All Summer long we unabashedly trash talked
the bean vines, which were full of flowers but no beans.
What would you have done?
Trash talked. Yes.
See, we were confused.
We planted. We watered. We waited.
Nothing.
Well, we take back all that verbal abuse!
A pile of beans awaits for tomorrow's dinner.
I am fully aware this is a lesson in
Patience and Providence.
What a wonderful little gift
the Creator waited to give at the end
of our growing season.
~
But let patience have her perfect work,
that ye may be perfect and entire,
wanting nothing.
