Just For The View

Thanks to the generosity of one of my husband's coworkers we have 2 hand-me-down lavender plants. 

This time of year they are blooming beautifully and from Spring to Fall they smell so lovely. 

I have done a little research on drying lavender and then using it for soap, oil, etc. 

However, Wisdom tells me that this Fall 

I need to simply cut it and hang it up by my kitchen window 

to view and smell the loveliness. 

The idea of having a lavender project is good, but the best thing is not to add that to my To Do list. 

The bushes will be there next year if there is room on my To Do list and in the meantime, I'll enjoy the view.
