First Blooms: Crocuses

Bulbs are a wonderful gardening investment

since you reap their benefits of beauty 

year after year without the blood, sweat and tears

(that sounded dramatic!)

of planting each year.

One planting = yearly beauty.

We are enjoying these crocus blooms

planted 7 seasons ago.

 

It's spring fever.  

That is what the name of it is.  

And when you've got it, you want - 

oh, you don't quite know what it is you do want, 

but it just fairly makes your heart ache, 

you want it so!
