Mud!

We've had much rain lately.

The rash of destructive, Midwest tornadoes

came our way this past week, 

with sirens sounding in our metro area,

and my husband seeing rotating clouds above our home.

Lessons in the majestic creation of weather, I'd say,

and the One who created that weather.

After the downpour of rain,

we had a soggy mess outside

and more than one puddle.

The kids had fun.

(I hope you let your kids play in the mud.)
