a burlap flowerpot
I had extra burlap on hand after finishing my standing desk, and I needed to re-pot a houseplant. I used an existing pot and tossed burlap on it, sealed with hot glue and voila - the (to me) prettiest of flowerpots.
Since working with fabric is hard work for me, I Googled "burlap flowerpots" and was directed to this link, which gave me an idea to start with and then I made it my own.
Truly I just cut, wrapped, hot glued and then frayed the edges.
I love the look of burlap, although who knew that working with it is so dusty? I had to dust mop AND vacuum after cutting and creating. If you are interested in working with burlap you have been officially forewarned!
