meat pie?
Have you ever made a meat pie? If so, do tell.
I was busy putting together a Shepherd's Pie for dinner, and instead of making mashed potatoes for the top I decided to put on a pie crust instead. I'm not sure what came over me, but I did it...
...and it turned out great! Meaning all members of the family found it edible, and a certain meat and potatoes man helped himself to seconds telling me he prefers Meat Pie (pie crust) to Shepherd's Pie (mashed potato topping).
All I did was mix together: 1 pound of browned hamburger, 1 cup of beef stock, 1 large potato (cubed and boiled until soft), 1 package of frozen carrots, cauliflower and broccoli (boiled until soft). Once mixed I put on the pie crust, and baked at 350 degrees for one hour.
