handmade: deck photos

The deck is finished; well, it has been for about one week. It slipped my mind to post some photos, until my husband asked me about it!

Well, here is the finished product. All we need to do is put a protective coat on the wood and figure out what to do with the extra wood (stored under the deck for now). It is beautiful, and we are enjoying it.

I'm hopeful this Trumpet Vine plant will thrive,

and eventually cover the trellis on the west side of the deck.

Our faithful dog thinks we built the structure just for her!
