canoeing

 

A favorite activity for me and my husband is canoeing. We first went two years ago, and had some time to ourselves recently, so we headed to a nearby lake. Our little outing lasted just one and half hours due to the heat, but it was so relaxing while it lasted. It's hard for me to sit (there's so much to do!) unless I'm reading or on the computer, so my husband enjoyed seeing me just...sit. The Great Blue Heron pictured above was our companion, although our presence finally annoyed him enough to squawk at us!
