tomato goodness

We are more than pleased with our tomato harvest, and it isn't over just yet. We should reap tomatoes through the first of September. We have four Roma tomato plants, two yellow tomato plants, two Country Taste plants, two Super Sioux plants, two Snowberry (yellow, cherry tomato) plants, and six red cherry tomato plants which self-sowed from last years crop. Yes, that is 18 plants in all and they are all producing. Needless to say, we have plenty for meals and I have been freezing them faithfully as well. Tomato sauce, tomato soup are visions for the cold weather months. There is something about having your own home grown vegetables available in the Winter - healthy and frugal is such a wonderful combination!
