This time of year the next best thing to ordering vegetable seeds for the 2014 garden (which I did yesterday from Baker Creek), is to enjoy plant beauty indoors. These Paperwhites, which my husband picked up from a local company, Farrand Farms, when he bought our tree, are a sight for my sore eyes. Extreme temperatures are a bit of a struggle for me, so our frigid temperatures accompanied by ice and snow are not a few of m favorite things! The snow, however, is now melting and the temperatures are in the 40's; a moment of grace in the midst of the cold. And the Paperwhites? Such beauty. I must plant more than five bulbs next year.
