as a mother

It is an honor 

to be called Mama by Ella and Roone,

and a privilege 

spending my days living life with them.

(The beautiful newborn above is Ella in 2004,

and the handsome newborn below is Roone in 2006. 

I was astonished how alike they looked at birth.)

It is only by God giving me abundant doses of Grace, Mercy, Love and Comfort

that I feel even a smidgen adequate for this task and relationship.

How amazing that God gives me his Words in the Bible to direct me 

on this road of motherhood,

and since daily I need God's goodness to cover me,

I'll keep reading his Words!
