smorgasbord of grace

When you have forced Forsythia blooms in the house, are able to bake a chicken pot pie without the house getting too hot AND the weather is warm enough to sit outside and soak up the sun, well, I just call that the wonderful season of Spring! 

It's only Saturday and we've already been football throwing, brownie baking, chicken broth simmering, basement wall building (dear husband), dog house painting (me!), Wolf Brother by J. Kjelgaard reading, bird watching, bike riding, fire pit enjoying, hammock sleeping, croquet playing . 

Oh my. This season of the year is a huge dose of GRACE following the cold confinement of Winter. Thank you, God, for this season, and the people and plants that are growing.
