Current Obsession

The library is one of my favorite places to go. Free resources (cd's, books, movies, etc.) for young and old alike. I like to browse the new release section of books and dvd's because you just never know what you might find. One time I stumbled across Lee Woodruff's book about when her husband, ABC news anchor Bob, was injured while reporting in Iraq. I loved reading that book.

Anyway, a couple of months ago I stumbled across some dvd's called Midsomer Murders. I had never heard of this British series, but the back of the box described it as murders in the picturesque English countryside. Perfect, I thought. And they have been! The nice check-out lady said I must have the entire series (since I grabbed all that were available, about 7). I thought, oh, it's a short series then. But oh no. I loved the episodes so much I used the online library catalog to search for more episodes. How lovely to find out the series has been around for about 10 years! Ten years worth of episodes. How wonderful for someone as obsessive as me. So click, click, click...I reserved as many as I could and am currently enjoying many an episode of Midsomer Murders. So if you like mysteries and beautiful landscapes, this is a series you should check out.
