Emerging

Spring is here! Green is everywhere! Many of our plants are emerging. 

I love the brilliance of trees and plants in full bloom, 

but am also learning to enjoy the process by which they get to that state. 

Here are some plants in-process.

My 75% off Hyacinth bulbs are beginning to bloom.
Double the pleasure, this bloom smells magnificent.

Lilac blooms beginning to peek out.

This is my favorite. The magnolia tree's flowers are first buds in a velvet, sage green casing. 

Look at the pairing of the green casing and the purple petals. 

I wonder, do designers/artists receive inspiration for colors from nature? 

They should!
