I don't have to leave home to go to a bakery!
This season is full of opportunities to love on other via baked goods.
First up? A birthday cake. A certain someone I know likes (lots of) vanilla icing on a (large slice of) vanilla cake with a (large) scoop of vanilla ice cream. And if you think the personality of this gentleman is vanilla you are so, so wrong!
Next? A platter of cinnamon rolls for a brunch at my husband's work. Making cinnamon rolls never, ever gets old.
I've also made two batches of brownies with peppermint cream cheese icing (mix cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar and crushed candy canes together) for gatherings.
The holidays are not over, the bakery is still open. Who am I kidding? The bakery is always open!
