lilac infusion

We are just one week into Spring, and it's official, my life is being infused with wondrous scents! The lilac bush, a gift for my first Mother's Day, is covered with sweet-smelling blooms. The blooms were such a-plenty that I indulged and brought the decadence indoors.

This time of year - the changing of the seasons - what a gift! It's as if I've moved, but stayed home at the same time. The landscape has turned colors, the air beckons one outdoors, the earth is turned in order to grow new goodness.

Spring is when life's alive in everything.
