in bloom: oak leaf hydrangea

We are busy around here keeping up with our gardens (watering, weeding), going on adventures with our children, finishing the deck, staying up late and getting up late. This is what warm weather breaks are like!

Usually, or Rose and Peony bushes are blooming at Mother's Day, but since warm weather hit us early most of those blooms have come and gone. Instead, the Oak Leaf Hydrangea blooms decided to grace us with their presence early, providing Mother's Day beauty that keeps going on and on and on.
