The following Peony Bushes were given to us by Jesse's dear aunt as small cuttings seven years ago when I was expecting with my second baby. I like remembering details. I don't remember specifically, but at least one of these type of bushes (white, soft pink or bright pink) was given to Jesse's aunt from her mother (his grandmother), so that means four generations are enjoying the same type of Peony. Again, I like the details. Last year our Spring heated up so quickly that the Peonies refused to bloom. They grew buds, but simply shriveled in the heat. This makes me more thankful this year for the beauty that is gracing the backyard.
