The challenge of the season is to keep up with all that the garden is providing.

What grace, I think, to have all the seeds we planted in early Spring

now providing such abundance in late Summer.

The work of putting it up for the Winter, 

even when it's seven hundred green beans on a Saturday morning,

(we counted because we're garden geeks!)

it's a blessing.
