About Me

My photo
This blog chronicles the adventures I share with my husband, daughter and son. It is also a place to share what I am learning as a homemaker, gardener, book lover and homeschooling mother. Welcome.

that third day

And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass,
the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind,
whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

And the earth brought forth grass,
and herb yielding seed after his kind,
and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind:
and God saw that it was good.

And the evening and the morning were the third day.
Genesis 1:11-13

Burning Bush

Creeping Phlox

Japanese Maple

Lilies

Magnolia Tree

Pear Tree

Oak Leaf Hydrangea

Violet

Wild Rose

It's all so utterly lovely. God's handiwork, exquisitely good. It's a bit quiet in it's showing right now, except for the brilliant Forsythia. Vines lengthen, leaves fill out, petals unfurl. What God set in motion all those years ago in the beginning, keeps growing, and just cannot stop.
