the june vegetable garden

Three weeks ago the garden looked like this.

Now, it's beginning to get that jungle-y, overgrown look,
which simply means growth!

We are still only reaping greens and herbs,
but cucumbers, tomatoes, squash and beans
can't be far behind.

Pole Green Beans

Squash

Blackberry Blossom

A large, 20x16 bed we're still determining what to do with;
this year it is planted with a mixture of flowers and vegetables.
I'm thinking it wise to move all the herbs here this Fall.

Squash, Lettuce and Spinach

Morning Glory

Lettuce and Spinach

Cherry Tomatoes

Potato Blossoms

Potatoes

Herbs: Sage, Lemon Balm, Lavender

Herbs: Oregano, Thyme, Rosemary

Fava Beans, Cilantro

Carrots

Bush Green Beans, Cucumbers

Chamomile, Mint, Dill

Roma Tomatoes and Carrots

I'm drooling over this! I need to see a pic of your entire yard now, it must be glorious.
