The one impressive thing about our walk in the woods yesterday is that we were actually there.
Between Jesse and I battling the flu for two weeks and treacherous winter weather (ice!) we had been home bound for more days that we wished. For me the worst is to be depleted of energy and have brain fog, so to be able once again to wander in the woods with good weather really was a gift. It was a short walk at under two miles, not even a hike as it was a gravel, level path. My reserves of energy are so low that I was really tired afterwards, but just the ability to be there was the point of success for that day.
