Since Potato River Falls is just a short drive from Copper Falls State Park we saw both of these areas one day. There were two trails to the falls, one to the Upper Falls and one to the Lower Falls, unfortunately not connected. This really was not a hike, but more of a short walk, or should I say climb as both trails had approximately 200 stairs down to where one is able to view the falls. The area was extremely pretty and lush inviting ferns, birches and blooms to flourish. Even though there wasn't much to do here, and we didn't have to "work" for the view (meaning walk miles and miles) I'm glad we were able to view these falls.
